The engine is all my work I am a machinist so I did all the fab work at my Job. I cant imagine how much I would have spent if I didn't do all the work my self , I know I've got over 20,000 just in parts, I bought the best of every thing ,the block is the siamese 440 race block , hemi crank ,it's got long hemi rods by Ray Barton, custom JE pistonsKoffles did the port work to the B-1 heads and they are original b-1 not the bs heads custom step headers which are made by Gary Cook, had to put a rack in the car to make room for them, brackets and air box are my creation ,that air box blew the top off it when I was at the alignment shop the day before I went to the track,, what a mad rush it was to weld it back together and put a stud in the middle even with just 4 pounds of boost it was ballooning when I gave it throttle....
I'm not making enough boost, it only made 4 lbs. and ran 9.87not bad for a heavy big car. I'm going to speed up the blower and tune it in and should run low 9s and best high 8s, might put a bigger blower on it if I can convince paxton to give me one so that i can market their product to be used on mopars too not just mustangs, but the conversion to mass air is not a easy thing.
I had to use ford electronics and I only did it because Imake after market ford (BIG) Mass air meters, working there i welded and bore out their biggest meter for my own car which came out to 93mm bore ,which led to the development of the 117mm mass air meter which is currently being used by Jimmy Larocca he running 7.70 in the pro 5.0 class. He helped me learn my computer system which is the ford Epic, which even lets me Data log all the sensors on the engine. It's a cool deal when every thing is working right . I've got 96lbs injectors in it now but I'm thinking about putting in 160lbs injectors and running on alcohol.

That would take care of the heat from running the blower, the distributor is a ford because it is needed to tell the computer when number 1 is firing, so its half ford and half mopar, my friend bob at work calls it a Fopar , I wonder if I'm the fastest mopar with mass air?

Whats nice about mass air is it does the air fuel ratio based on what the engine is using and there is no complicated fuel map to deal with once the transfer function is put into the computer the only thing left to do is tell it what air fuel ratios you want at what rpm and give it a timing curve for boost and your in but its can be a big painif you don't know the tricks of the trade. Believe me a blew 3 days on the dyno trying a computer system I got for free and had a couple of bad connections and was pulling my hair out with no luck till after it was all said and done. I cant tell you how many times i was going to just rip all this stuff off and put a carb on it and put nitrous in those fuel injector bungs. but like any good thing it takes time. if you have any specific questions don't hesitate to ask me.

The Challenger:
I bought this car in 1988 but it did not look like this then, I did tons of work to it the whole front end is glass and passenger door is glass its got a 360 with the 508 cam and b-1 small blk heads , best time was 11.80 at good old Detroit Dragway
