Sorry, you dont fit in.

Have you ever been sitting in Church or a bible study and thought to yourself: "What am I doing here?, How did I get here?"

It amazes me.

The reason is we just dont fit in. When the Pastor is talking about Heaven and Gods goodness and all these things, I can only think "Man, I just dont fit in. I am not worthy and I dont deserve it." All this good news just doesnt line up well with my life.

Think of it this way.

Imagine building a car motor. (you can do that right?)

Say its a big block of your choice. You've got the block all decked and prepped, zipped and zapped and have all your killer parts to put in it.

One thing though, the pistons. All you have is lawn mower pistons.

They ARE pistons though, they are steel, have rings, etc.. and a motor needs pistons, right?. But they are way too small. They wont connect to your rods either. Theres really no mods you could do to make them work..any effort would be futile and a waste of time. Theres really no way they will ever work in your block.

Would you even think of trying make them work in your motor?
Of course not, it'd be ridiculous. They simply do not fit in.

You and I are like that. We dont fit in to Heaven. We are inadequate. There is really nothing we can do to make ourselves good enough to enter Gods presence. And even if we tried how would we ever know if we made the mark? Trying to make yourself good enough to fit into Heaven is even more crazy than using lawn mower pistons in your big block!

Good news folks! You dont have to try and fit in. You dont have to build a ladder to get there either.

Jesus did it all for you. He paid the price for your sins and my sins. He did it for you, because He knew you could never make it alone. And if we believe and Trust in Him, he will fit us into Heaven. He will make us fit! Only Jesus can do it for you, you cant do it yourself and you can't ride in on someone elses faith.

Do yourself a BIG favor and trust Jesus to fit you in to His plan for you.
